"Muscat Grapes" Original Acrylic on Board

We are excited to introduce new artist Ian Mastin to the Paragon Gallery.  Ian works in acrylics and paints still life pieces of extraordinary quality.  He is truly passionate about his work and strives to pursue his artistic goal of excellence in his chosen genre with endless determination.

“I recognise the influence of the Dutch and Flemish Masters of the 17th Century in my work.  However, I wholeheartedly embrace the fascination and challenge of the still life whilst in no way feeling bound by tradition or convention.”

Ian has since returned to Australia, but still exhibits throughout Scotland and England. His work has also been exhibited in New York, Amsterdam, Hong Kong and Singapore and can be found in private collections around the world.  A selection of Ian's work is now on display at the Paragon Gallery in Cheltenham and already selling well.  Further images can be seen on the gallery page.
