The crux of Robert's work is its simplicity. He explores the interaction of sculptural geometry, symmetry, and proportion in experimentation with positive and negative space. In each sculpture, organic forms converge in an interplay of rhythmic harmony. Building up from small maquettes, his works utilises a combination of bronze, stone, steel, and mixed media.

Robert gained a Cert Ed from Warwick University followed by associate lecturing posts at Leicester RAC, Northampton College and Stamford College. Combining art education and his own studio practice has formed a collaborative artistic journey. Robert's work explores form and symmetry and attempts to convey fundamental elements. The sculpture finds itself in a state of flux, static yet in motion.
