Karen is a professional artist living near the Herefordshire/Gloucestershire border. Painting to commission and working on creative projects in the corporate arena have kept her busy, alongside raising her young daughter.
Covering art auctions as editorial assistant on the weekly Antiques Magazine reignited her long-held passion for art and her determination to work in the art world was rewarded with a job as a studio manager for a leading contemporary artist. Following this, Karen managed a prestigious retail gallery in Cheltenham for a number of years before taking the opportunity to pursue her own artistic path.
Karen was the artist for images and design of Core Context’s book “Regeneration & Co-Creation: Changing Change” by Keith Humphries, and is often present to graphically record and enhance many leadership events with clients around the world.
Karen’s current series of work focuses on still life, working mostly in acrylic, but she is versatile and skilled in other media and works frequently on life drawing among other subjects.
