Boris Anikin was born in 1947 in Leningrad. In 1965 he graduated from the Art School at the Academy of Fine Arts. He then enrolled at the Academy of Fine Arts, where he graduated in 1974.
Boris is primarily an illustrator. He has illustrated more than 150 books which can be found in virtually every Russian home. He worked with the most famous literary publishing houses, Fiction, Neva, Children's Literature, Soviet writer and many others.
